The French company Ekobo creates beautiful bamboo tableware, over 300 handcrafted products in delicious colors. They combine timeless desing with a thoughtful, ethical way of working. 
Ekobo is based in France but they work closely with several communities in Vietnam. Their designers draft product sketches in Europe which are then realized by expert bamboo artisans in Asia. The artisans are able to work locally in their village and are paid a salary that is nearly 2 times higher than the market rate. Bamboo is a natural, renewable and eco-friendly material, because it grows twice as fast as a tree.
